very incompetent management and a handful of lying, LAZY, uncaring caregivers and med techs that will leave your family members in their own waste! and management will do nothing to hold them accountable! honestly wouldn't let my dog live here.. but there is very few workers that do try their best given the circumstances!

At first we thought Vista Springs was a great place, and if it weren’t for the terrible, lazy management who seem to always be having a private pizza party in and who never come out of the office, it does have the potential. Many of the staff are caring, but unfortunately the really bad staff overshadowed the great people all too frequently. No matter how many times me and other resident’s families complained, Kris and Melissa wouldn’t do a thing to change their behaviors. Kris became quite rude each time I tried to discuss it with her especially in my family member’s last weeks of life. When special events were held for the residents and their families, it seemed that there were more of management’s family there than residents. Even though the main cook was a wonderful person who tried her best with I am sure a very limited budget, the“chef” prepared meals were mostly pre-processed Sysco or Gordon Foods meals. Weekend lunches were mostly dry sandwiches and hot dog prepared by young kids. The office staff repeatedly went through my family member’s belongings even though I constantly told them not to. So many other resident’s families had the same concerns and like me, did not want to disrupt our family member in the last months of their lives.

Hopefully the new owner will make some major changes and bring in much better management, get rid of the bad employees and do something to reward the great ones.

Best place thus far and no complaints-staff is attentive and caring. Get more updates on mom’s daily activities here as well, nice that they actually engage the residents in activities vs sit on their phones🤩
