This place is amazing! The facility is very clean, modern, and has a beautiful dining area where residents always seem to be enjoying their time. The front desk staff are wonderful and were always so helpful in answering our questions and helping us find what was best for my mom. Most of the staff are amazing, especially Tiffany and Sally. They took care of my mom like she was their own mother, and my family will always be grateful for them. The only thing I think could be improved is housekeeping, as some areas have an unpleasant smell. Other than that, I highly recommend this place! Bring your loved ones here and won’t regret it :)

Our family member is a resident at StoryPoint Clinton Township, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The community is absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and truly feels like home. What makes this place special is the staff. They are kind, friendly, compassionate, and genuinely care about the residents they serve. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community. There are many senior living communities out there, but StoryPoint Clinton Township stands alone. The activities, dining, care, and overall experience are second to none. There is truly nothing else like it. We are grateful every day to have our loved one living in such a wonderful place.

My father lived in assisted living at StoryPoint Clinton Township for approximately one year. He was 95 years old, blind, profoundly hard of hearing, wheelchair dependent, and required assistance with daily living activities. Our family chose StoryPoint because we believed the promises made during admission about attentive care, meaningful activities, quality meals, and professional staff support. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. The most consistent issue was staffing and responsiveness. Call lights often went unanswered for extremely long periods of time, leaving my father to attempt unsafe transfers on his own because he simply could not wait any longer for help. Despite repeated discussions with staff and management, these problems never meaningfully improved. Dining was another major concern. The “chef prepared” meals were almost always served cold, frequently missing items or condiments, and often poorly suited for residents with disabilities. Because my father was blind, one of his children attended dinner with him nearly every single evening for an entire year to help him identify food, prepare it so he could eat safely, and ensure he actually received everything he ordered. On one occasion staff forgot to even bring him to dinner at all. There were also repeated failures with routine care tasks: * laundry frequently was not collected unless family handled it, * showers were skipped and not rescheduled, * trash was improperly handled, * bedside toileting equipment was often not cleaned or emptied, * and important changes in condition were not recognized or communicated. The assisted living activities were minimal and often not appropriate for residents with visual, hearing, or mobility impairments. Many residents appeared isolated in their rooms with little meaningful engagement. What frustrated us most was that these concerns were communicated repeatedly throughout the year. Management was aware of the issues, yet little changed. I worked in healthcare management myself for many years, so I understand staffing shortages and the realities of long-term care. No facility is perfect. But families considering assisted living should understand that there is a significant difference between marketing promises and the day-to-day experience we observed in assisted living at this facility. Our family ultimately moved my father out. He has since passed away, and I felt it was important to share our experience honestly so that other families can ask careful questions before making such an important decision.

I visited Storypoint recently. The staff was welcoming, the community was clean and the residents were fantastic! Everyone is always smiling. I was excitedly greeted by one resident, who is part of the welcome committee, and he told me all about how much he loves living here. It made me feel good that the residents had great feedback about StoryPoint!
