I would not recommend StoryPoint to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one. From what I’ve witnessed, many of the caregivers seem unmotivated, lazy, and only do things on their own schedule instead of putting the residents needs first.<br><br>Families pay a lot of money expecting their loved ones to live comfortably, be treated with dignity, and receive compassionate care. Unfortunately that level of care is not consistently provided.<br><br>The residents deserve caregivers who genuinely want to be there, take their jobs seriously, and are passionate about caring for the elderly every single day. StoryPoint needs to invest in a staff that values compassion, professionalism, and accountability because the current level of care is unacceptable.<br><br>Based on my experience I would not recommend placing a family member here.

Staff make family and new residents feel comfortable. Answered my numerous questions with lots of patience. The kitchen staff was able to modify the menu for my mother's special health needs. And the activities offered are interesting and offer lots of variety.

If you’re looking for perfection - it doesn’t exist, if you’re looking for kind, warm, helpful, friendly staff they are here at StoryPoint Livonia! My Dad, like many older people are skeptical and have many reservations about making this transition to an assisted living facility. It wasn’t entirely easy at first, but soon after it became clear that the staff here was fantastic. My Dad is a tough cookie - he can be a challenge at times. We are so thankful that he was able to form so many great relationships in a short period of time. Like everyone - we toured all nearby facilities, so happy we chose StoryPoint Livonia for our Dad. Thank you to everyone who works here, your kindness and thoughtfulness is appreciated!

If you are seeking a smaller community that provides the highest level of care, StoryPoint of Livonia is hands down your best option. The community is conveniently located and can meet your loved one's care needs. Kathy and Raelene are seasoned professionals and run a great building.

StoryPoint has been a true blessing for my Dad! In a very urgent moving situation, I was able to find comfort in the friendly, empathetic, and very professional staff. The Community is absolutely beautiful and offers so much to keep my Dad safe and active. The staff go above and beyond to make their residents and families feel cared for and about. The transition to this community has been very comfortable for us and I am so grateful that we found StoryPoint Livonia:)
