We started looking for Independent Living for our Dad. Within a month, we narrowed our choices to three. With full faith and certainty, we chose St. Paul's. The amenities outweigh what other facilities offer. In house Mass is very important. Dad has raved about the kindness of everyone. He loves the Bistro Cafe and the amazing dinners. St. Paul's also focuses on little things - things that you don't notice but when you see them, you are immediately grateful you chose to become a part of the St. Paul's Community. Cost wasn't an immediate factor but it is the most affordable in the area. His neighbors are now his friends. He chooses the pace of his days. All the worries owning a home and living alone are now gone. And he is honestly happy to be there; something we worried about. He is comfortable in his apartment and he is beyond overjoyed this is now his home. This is one decision I'm proud we got right!

UPDATE...dad needed to move to assisted long term care. We had less than 3 days to make this work. Dad was in the hospital over the weekend and we needed all the approval to get him in a room by Tuesday. I wish I could better explain this but it was like Disney. The whole staff worked diligently behind the scenes and all we saw were happy and welcoming faces. So nice that this one facility can provide services for all life's stages!
