My mother was recently at Solaris for over 2 weeks, for rehab after surgery. She is 92 and uses a walker normally, but somewhat weaker after surgery. She liked the rehab , for 1 hour , 5 times a week. The rest of the time she spent sitting in a wheelchair, hours at a time. She never had a walker at her bedside so depended on staff to take her to the bathroom. In a few occasions she had to wait almost 1 hour , as did her roommate, so was incontinent. Although I did discuss all of this with management it never improved. I should have taken her out of there sooner.

I thought the staff was rude and was put off any time I asked question. My loved one was there six months and even though I questioned things about her blood sugar and was ignored. After a week of being home we are back in the hospital because her blood sugar was never tested or treated. Her diet was not strictly watched and now we have a mess. No thank you.

I was in Solaris for rehab & reconditioning after a few back to back pneumonias. I just couldn’t get my strength back. The great people in Rehab at Solaris were hard on me when I didn’t want to be and insisted that I counted that last set of 10 reps even when I didn’t want to. They encouraged me but they didn’t push me when I truly felt sick. They only pushed me when I felt disagreeable. Mike was hardest on me but he also knew when I couldn’t take it. Everyone in the department was great including Irma, Ron, and the rest. The nurses and CNAs and techs were also amazing especially my favorite & most patient TaKesha. My apologies to all of those great nurses and CNAs whose names I don’t remember but who took excellent care of me even when I wasn’t feeling well and just wanted to sleep. The food was delicious. I appreciated that if I wasn’t crazy about the first menu offered, then there were several other options to choose from. Solaris itself was so well taken care of. The inside was beautiful and the grounds were gorgeous. Staff encouraged the residents to take meals in the dining room if at all possible but understood if you preferred to stay in your own room. The Social Workers, Nastacia and Joanne, both worked very hard trying to find an in-home PT who accepted my insurance policy. From top to bottom I only have positive experiences and positive feedback for everyone whom I came in contact with.

My sister recently stayed at Solaris and we were very pleased with the care she received. Staff was kind, attentive, and treated her with respect. PT, OT and ST were excellent and provided good communication to us. Social service and billing were very helpful. Our family greatly appreciates the support and care the staff provided!

This place is number 1 on so many levels. From the expertise of the front office to the personal care given to each patient, this is the place to send your loved ones...if you can. The front office (Jessica) oversaw every step, for the financial short term and long-term viability of my patient. I couldn't be happier. The care nurses are truly nurses that take great care. The safety of the patient is number one and when it comes to arranging transport to and from doctor's offices, on time...their system is great. The TV's are high def, with tons of channels including movie channels, and the internet connection is free and fast for everyone..including guests. Activities are like being on a cruise ship and special holiday dinners with your loved one are only $5 for guests. The girls that greet you and check you in as a guest are first rate and so friendly and helpful. If you choose Solaris you won't be disappointed.
