One of the nurses that works there tore a letter that was to my father in law and thats a federal offense and he never got to read or sign the papers because one of the nurses wouldn't let him have it and it's it's not right to not let my father in law read his own mail. He is being treated very badly there . The hotline doesn't help at all and how would you feel if one of the residents read you're personal mail!

Being out of state I have found getting information very challenging. People tell me they will call back and look into matter, yet crickets. When I do send email on instructions about a related conservatorship, it is ignored, and I continue to get emailed. When I did an in-person visit on March 25th, it was not with the professionalism I would expect. For example, a document I sent ahead of my visit with questions I was told was being worked on; yet, I have never been provided back to me. When I get a call from the nurse regarding my mother, we have a language barrier. Re-evaluating whether this place is feasible long-distance because the communication and actions related to statements are lacking. Given the current situation, I have started shopping other facilities I am find better pricing and commitment. For those out-of-state, you may wish to reconsider, or do a 90-day trial before you commit. This review is based on communication and price.

Visiting with my sister i find my experience very good. The facility is cleaned, the staff attended to the client very well and safety was in order and overall they gave a homey since of welcome. My sister has let me know that she is happy and pleased there. Thats what matters the most to me for my love one.

This place doesn't deserve a single star. I would NEVER recommend this place, not even for my worst enemy. The staff has terrible bedside manner, is nonchalant, and truly fits the stereotype of nursing facilities. My grandfather would call for nurse assistance with no response. They shaved him and left hair in his mouth! He was dehydrated and couldn't eat and did not make an attempt to give him fluids. He fell out of his bed and my grandfather had to contact us himself at 2 in the morning! If you truly care about your loved ones, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO GO HERE!

Recently my mother was admitted to Pruitt healthcare facility, located in Brookhaven. I had intentionally chose them because 3 years prior my mother in law had been under their care. We had been pleased with the level of care she received during her lengthy stay. Oddly enough they both had been placed in in the exact room and bed. However this is where the similarities ended. My mother was there exactly 3 days before I removed her from the facility due to the indifference and lack of care she received during her brief stay. Some of the atrocities included an untidy environment, limited follow up concerning the consumption + removal of meals, non compliance with med distribution (she refused to take them so they didn't administer them) My mother was experiencing cognitive deficits and they simply allowed her to languish in an unsafe/unsupervised environment. If not for the observations of her roommate we would not be able to piece together the reasons behind her decreasing wellbeing. All but one individual seemed overly concerned, and yet she had not made any attempt to reach out to us. I would not recommend the facility to anyone. Luckily my family's advocacy and daily visits dwafted any real setbacks.
