My 95 year old dad spent his last days in Safe Haven and received wonderful care. Our family knew that if he couldn’t be home, this was the next best place for him to be. He loved the food Miss Annie prepared for him and felt loved by all of the caring staff. Our family was very grateful for all of the wonderful care my dad received during his stay at Safe Haven in Brookhaven. We highly recommend them for any loved ones that can’t live at home any longer.

Safe Haven at Brookhaven is the most wonderful place for your loved ones. Alla and her sweet team are the most loving and caring individuals. They are truly devoted to making sure that their residents are comfortable and taken care of at the highest level from managing their medical and emotional needs to their dietary needs. From the moment I met them, I was at ease. I truly felt I could relax knowing that everything was being done which possibly could have. My aunt was clean, comfortable and happy and had a beautiful room….other than in a facility. For the first time, I felt a genuine peace of mind. I would recommend Safe Haven to anyone in need of more personal, individual care. They will be lucky to live in this loving, beautiful home. I’m so grateful my aunt was so well taken care of the last couple of months of her life.

The caregivers and residents at Safe Haven became a family to my father and to me during his nearly two years of residency. He had previously lived in a large memory care facility and got “lost in the crowd.” At Safe Haven, Dad found a home. The caregivers were communicative, flexible and kind. I was able to sleep at night knowing my father was in good hands.

My husband has been at Safe Haven Brookhaven for 2 years. I am pleased with his care. Visited several facilities before deciding on Safe Haven. I appreciate that the staff is stable and caring. Visit him regularly and have no complaints. My husband has Alzheimers and many other illnesses.

My mother had been a resident at Safe Haven at Brookhaven for over 2 and ½ years before passing away; she had lived at several other assisted living and nursing homes for 4 years beforehand. Safe Haven was by far the best facility she had lived at over the years. The staff is highly qualified, kind and compassionate and very responsive to resident and family needs. In addition, the facility itself is a real home on a residential street so there is not an institutional feel, and it is always kept clean. My mother, who had entered Safe Haven very weak and in poor health, would not have lived as long as she did without the outstanding care provided at Safe Haven: the lead caregiver, Detra, with her quick thinking and skill, saved my mother’s life several times. In addition, the facility manager, Alla, was always available to help out when needed. I feel lucky to have found Safe Haven for my mother and highly recommend it to anyone with a family member who needs caregiver assistance!
