The kitchen is dirty as Hell. I would have them randomly inspected while also being unannounced honestly, especially since they make food in that kitchen for the older citizens living there.

Sara , Bridget , and whoever is the med passer that answers the phone needs to be FIRED asap . All are extremely rude and unprofessional . Walked in the facility for probably 5 seconds and the lady known as Bridget was yelling at AND THREATENING her own employee . Tried to call and report it and the med passer who answered the phone lied and said no one was able to do anything about it . This is not the first time I’ve witnessed Sara or Bridget threatening or belittling residents or their own employees . I’ve asked multiple times for HR number and everytime I call I get a different response . Do NOT leave your family here . It is unsafe and they do not care how their residents or employees get treated . This is completely unacceptable.

Our father resides at New Perspective Senior Living in Prior Lake where he initially lived independently before transitioning into assisted living. He feels safe and secure. We know he is well-cared for by the friendly and supportive staff. The aids have been a blessing!!<br>He is able to use his pendant when needed for assistance with prompt service.<br>His apartment is spacious with all amenities needed. He enjoys the dining room and quality of the food. Breakfast is a favorite!<br><br>If we need help or have a question, we have always been treated with respect and kindness by the Executive Director-Bridget.<br>This facility is fortunate to have someone who truly cares about their residents and their families.<br>We’re thankful for New Perspective!

Last week, I visited a current resident at New Perspective Prior Lake. I have been to this community many times and have consistently had positive interactions with the staff and management. However, this visit was the first time I encountered the Executive Director, and the experience was extremely concerning.<br>During my visit, the Executive Director behaved in a highly unprofessional manner in the main entrance area. She was loud and disruptive, made inappropriate remarks toward other staff members, and used profanity—all while visitors were present. There appeared to be little awareness or concern for who was nearby, including residents and guests. At one point, she made a disparaging comment about an employee as they walked past.<br>My friend, who has lived at the community for several years, shared that the Executive Director is rarely available to residents. When she is available, my friend stated that she is often dismissive and rude when residents bring concerns forward. It is disheartening to know that residents and staff may be subjected to this type of behavior.<br>My friend expressed that what keeps her at the community is the kindness and professionalism of the other managers, staff and residents. While it is reassuring to know that the mass majority of that building conducts themselves with respect and professionalism, it is deeply troubling that the Executive Director does not model the same standards.<br>I strongly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed does not reflect that principle. Someone in authority should take this matter seriously and address it appropriately.
