Moving a loved one into a senior living place and memory care is one of the hardest things you will do, but New perspectives Waconia made the transition go so much easier.<br>From the beginning… And I had toured seven places before New perspectives Waconia… Susannah was incredible. She gave the tour and answered 1 million questions and helped me make what I think is the perfect choice for my mother. She continues to be my go to person and always sends me in the right direction<br>Sue at the front desk is another gem… As all the women who greet you are! They always meet everyone with a smile and are happy to listen or answer questions you have. . Those friendly faces make such a difference when you’re visiting!<br>The caregivers in memory care are amazing! AJ has shown such patience and compassion! Everyone on the team treats my mother with dignity. I am still getting to know all of them and their names, but they all have been caring, professional, and make sure that my mother feels comfortable and safe.<br>Another huge plus is the varieties of activities they offer. There’s always something happening to keep residence, engaged. Bryn keeps it going on a weekly basis! Thank you Bryn!<br>The facility itself is beautiful, clean and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about the residence and their families. Thank you to everyone for your compassion, patience and dedication! Your work makes a huge difference to families!<br>I would highly recommend New perspectives Waconia to anyone looking for a caring engaging in wonderful place for your loved one!

We moved our parents in on July 22nd 2024. It was one of the hardest decisions we have ever made, but it was needed and the entire NP team made it as easy as possible for all of us, most importantly our parents. The level of care that was "sold" to us was really good. The "actual" care and attention my parents are receiving is 100 times better than what we were sold! I remember my first call to the nursing staff, about a week after my parents were in to check to make sure the medicine was correct, being given at the proper times, etc as well as to discuss other concerns that my brother and I had regarding our parents health. The nursing staff is so proactive that they were waaaaaay ahead of us, had all of the medication sorted out, all of the concerns my brother and I had covered and they pointed out some areas where they needed help that we had missed. Its been a very 2 way relationship from the beginning. If I have questions, I'm free to call whenever. If they need something from us, they call us. My mom compliments nothing and has actually commented that she likes the food most of the time and even complimented a couple of staff members. I'd also like to give 5 stars to the Curana staff. Curana is the on-site medical care provider. Between the NP staff and Curana they listened to my parents and us and have provided more answers, ideas and solutions in the first 3 weeks at NP than we got from regular medical resources in the last 6 months. We've all finally realized that our parents are in the right place and in the best hands that they can be. Now my brother and I can "let go" as caregivers and the stress that goes with it, and just spend as much time as we have left being family.

New Perspective was an answer to our prayers!<br>Dad received outstanding care, even when his care needs increased, we were assured that he could live out his days there and knew he was being taken care of by compassionate, kind, and caring staff. Thank you memory care staff!!

New Perspective Waconia has been a godsend for my mother and family. When I initially met with Susannah many months ago, the plan was for both my mom and dad to move in. We had the apartment all picked out, and our move-in date was set. However, my dad unexpectedly passed away before they could move in.<br>The staff has been so welcoming and sweet to my mom. Knowing that she has people like that around her makes this new part of her life easier.<br>From the sympathy card sent to our family before she even moved in to the “Welcome to New Perspective” flowers hand delivered to her door. They have gone above and beyond for her.<br>Communication is really outstanding as well. Any questions or concerns I have had have been dealt with quickly and effectively.<br>She is very pleased with her new home. She feels welcome, happy and most importantly safe.
