My mother reluctantly started working with Visiting Angels in 2024 but very quickly changed her tune when she met her caregiver, Mary. They immediately hit it off and became fast friends. She moved to assisted living a few months later and no longer needed Mary's help. Fast forward to this past October when we once again had to enlist Visiting Angel's assistance. We were thrilled that Mary was available to be one of my mom's caregiver. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she provides as well as the friendship she and my mom have. Thank you, Mary, and Visiting Angels!

I don't know how she does it, but Susan somehow manages to make my very stubborn 86 yr old mother feel as if taking a shower was actually *her* idea, then happily takes one! No swearing like a sailor (Alzheimer's new 'gift') nor acting like a 4 yr old with a tantrum! Susan gets her excited about small things and makes mom feel like she has a teammate. She knows when to push through and takes mom's cues as to when she truly isn't up for anything. It's such a relief to have her help. And anytime I ask her for specific help, like could she organize mom's laundry room, its done like a pro! Then she even took on the bathroom without my asking! After 3 yrs of trying to do everything by myself and feeling like I was an empty shell, I finally feel like I'm getting my life back a bit! Thank you, Susan, for truly caring about my mom's well being. It's a super difficult road to go down with no other in-state family, and Susan managed to bring the upbeat 'fun' back into mom's world, instead of just an exhausted daughter. And Bailey is a great (patient) communicator with all the billing questions & breaking down costs for me, so TY both!

My Dad and I had a positive experience with having Visiting Angels provide additional care for my Mom when she was placed at home in hospice. Visiting Angels was the first step I took in connecting my Dad with home health care. Tommy was the first person we discussed the actual agreement with and he was easy to talk to. He gave my Dad a Veteran’s discount and helped us sign the documents and gave us a notebook with copies of the agreement and a calendar to schedule home health care visits. Without their caregivers my Dad and I would not have been able to provide enough care for my mom even with the other hospice service skilled nurse and CNA care we signed on with. I recommend Visiting Angels. If possible I would recommend Visiting Angels for all the hospice and home care services because they were so supportive and kind to my entire family.
