My father was in the memory care facility. During the time he was there, his personal items continually disappeared, his room was not kept clean and orderly. The staff did not provide activities and instead sat the residents in front of the television and sat on the other side of the room talking and on their cell phones. On more than one occasion I witnessed staff sleeping instead of working. The front door is only unlocked until 5:00 pm and after that an after hours number needs to be called to gain access to the building which often goes unanswered. The memory care unit smells of urine. My father ended up being hospitalized multiple times due to poor care. Management did nothing to correct issues even when brought to their attention multiple times. I would recommend never putting a loved one in their care.
