My family member is experiencing unclean conditions. Someone with the facility tried to give her the wrong meds. She says that they are understaffed and those employed would rather play with their cell phones. Doesn't get breakfast on Sunday because there is no one to cook it. Her daughter stocks her underwear and private needs. Other residents go in her room and steal these things. She actually overheard a staff member directing people to take what ever they need. This home is overdue for a state investigation. The residents are not getting what they are paying for. It sounds like the residents are neglected by staff.

It was pretty difficult to find a place for my mother when she needed Assisted Living and then we had our tour and meeting with the people at Suite living senior care of Prior Lake and liked it very much but Mom wasn't at the meeting so we were worried. When she first saw the place she absolutely loved it and she told me she never thought this would happen but every day when she wakes up it feels like Christmas and can't wait to see what happens that day and she just loves and the other residents and<br>the staff and cannot stop talking about how much she likes it there. I totally recommend it.

We were looking for assisted living for my parents that had memory care available for my father who was recently diagnosed with dementia. We also wanted to find a place that was smaller and felt more like home (there are only 32 suites which felt perfect for them). The administration and care teams have been so helpful and kind! While never an easy change, the team has done everything they can to help my parents adjust! We are thankful to have found long term care that has such a great care team! Also the building is beautiful inside; bright, open and nicely furnished! Stephanie, RN and Marilyn, Activity Director have gone above and beyond to make my parents feel so welcomed!

Suite Living Prior Lake is clean and new. The aids are very efficient support and kind. They work extremely hard to please residents and family. The issue there might be the the head of care. The facilities people in charge might not understand dementia and might even find specific parts of dementia amusing to them. The head care giver might have genuinely enjoyed correcting residents with any simple confusion or hallucinations.<br>When my mother started the dying process they shut her door and left her all alone and only gave her morphine as directed by a hospice nurse. She moaned for almost 16 hours and no one instructed the aids to move her up in her hospital bed so that she could breath. It was by far the most neglective death I’ve ever imagined. Also, the residents are expected to come out for meals and than sit in their rooms alone.<br>If your loved one enjoys socializing or connecting to other people this isn’t the choice. It’s very quiet and very boring. The food is very good and almost completely from scratch. I would not recommend this based on the head care giver who ironically just started there a few months ago.
