We moved our mother into Norbella Prior Lake with high hopes, but unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations. The lease signing process took several attempts due to issues on Norbella’s end. Her room wasn’t ready on move in day, and we immediately noticed ants on the floor. Over the four months she lived there, we dealt with multiple incorrect billing statements that required repeated follow-up, which became increasingly frustrating to resolve. The first care conference was especially disappointing, as no staff members showed up. On top of that, cell service in the building is very spotty, making communication with our mom difficult. While most of the nursing staff were kind, the overall experience lacked the reliability and consistency we expected. We have since moved our mother to McKenna Crossing just a few miles down the road, and it has been such a positive change. We’re truly grateful we made the switch.
