Mom moved to Mable Rose reluctantly, after having to leave her home of 60+ years. There she would spend the majority of the day in a room watching TV, and napping. After she had been at Mable Rose a few weeks, she started to enjoy day to day living again. She had always been a people person, working as a bingo caller until Covid hit and the bingo halls closed down. At Mable Rose, she found people again, at meals, at the activity center, listening to entertainment, and going to the chapel three times a week. She was seldom in her room between lunch and dinner, which were enjoyed in the dining room. Using the walker to go to these activities improved her physical strength. Shout out to Carol, who was always cheering her on and encouraging her to go to activities! Care came from all of the staff, whether it be dietary, maintenance or front desk. We wish that she would have been able to spend more time with her Mable Rose Family. Thank you to all! With love, the Family of Mary Novak

The staff are great. They truly enjoy there work. My wife on weekends frequently asks when is she going to the Club. Compared to the Club I must be pretty boring.

My Mom was at Mable Rose for an extended period of time in the daycare program. I know it helped her enjoy the time she had left. She loved the music programs and the store. She always went grumpy but came home with a smile until toward the end. The staff made her feel comfortable and also made us, her family feel better about leaving her. If you want somewhere positive for your family member then this is the place to be.
