This place deserves a negative zero. My mother was here bc insurance only would pay for this horrible care. My mother had to call me at work and say she had not been changed in two hours. I worked as a cna and would have lost my job. Sorry sorry care. When I went to charge nurse she dismissed me. My mother got sepsis and died within two weeks of being here. She had no open sores or skin break down till she got in this neglectful, non ethical, and lazy facility. Her care was disgusting. I came everyday to take care of her and make sure she was cared for. The minute I was gone, care went out the windows. The staff was rude and lazy. If you don't care about sick dying people, do something else. I wad always trained to treat my patients as if it was my own family. This never happened in this poor excuse of a nursing facility. We had saved money to get her out of here, but by that time it was to late. This is the poorest excuse of a nursing facility. My mother even told me not to complain or they would treat her worse. She was of very sound mind. Im disgusted with the care and treatment of my mother. AGAIN, FIND ANOTHER JOB IF YOUD ONT WANT TO CARE GIR ELDERLY!!!! IF YOU HAVE A LOVED HERE, FIND SOMETHING ELSE!!! Questing? Would you leave your loved one there if you did not work there? Lol. This place should be closed down or legally looked into. Ratings say it all.

My best friend of over 40yrs was there after being in a WORSE facility in another part of town. The first time he was there he had another stroke and was taken back to the hospital. When his clothing, snacks, bedding, supplies and false teeth were asked for we were told they would try to find them. We were able to get some of the things back. His 2nd visit there I was accused of bringing him jello shots! It was jello pudding cups from Walmart. I was constantly being watched and they found every excuse they could find to get him out to the nurses station so they could ask him why I was visiting. I should say we were different genders & race but why should that matter. He had another stroke, went back to the hospital and again, most of his belongings were (Lost). The facility smelled, I never saw anyone come to do vitals or med checks. I rarely had to sign in. It seemed alot of the residents that smoked spent most of their time in the parking garage. I can't blame them. I post this now because my friend has passed. Why didn't I take him in my home? I didn't have power of attorney.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care and compassion my mother-in-law received at Greenbrier at the Altamont. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel welcomed, respected, and truly cared for. Every nurse, aide, and team member went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, but what truly sets Greenbrier apart is the people. They treated her like family — with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Communication with our family was excellent, and we always felt informed and supported throughout her stay. It’s never easy to entrust a loved one to someone else’s care, but Greenbrier made that decision feel right. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional service and heartfelt attention they provided. Highly recommend to anyone seeking skilled nursing care with a personal touch!

My mom was at the facility a little over 20 days after having a stroke. When she first came she was able to talk and communicate. While in their care, she suffered another stroke which completely made her non-verbal. The doctor nurse practitioner didn't know anything was wrong but luckily she had a CNA that really cared and called me to tell me my mom wasnt acting like herself. I had to tell the doctor to send my mom back to the emergency to see what was wrong. That's when I found out she had another stroke. I will digress about that part. The facility does not have security. Anyone can walk in and out at any hour of the day and night. Every night that I popped in to check on my mom, there was no one at the sign in desk, no CNA and the nurse sat down at the desk all night staring at the computer. When I asked her questions, she never knew anything. The night and weekend CNA's are lazy and no where to be found. When I pull in they are outside smoking or sitting at the table by the elevator. The facility smells like 💩 and piss most days and they have a roach infestation. The business manager didn't tell me my mom's insurance stopped paying after day 20 and let her bill add up to $1375 before I received a phone call. The phone call was supposed to go over my mom's care plan but when I got hit with a $1375 bill I had to pay or my mom would no longer receive care. I knew it was time to go because this was very unprofessional. It's very unbusinesslike to not inform someone of something like this and just say my bad and move along like it's okay. If YOU can't do your job then leave and let a professional have it. I am also calling corporate about this issue as well because I could have made other arrangements for my mom instead of putting this burden on me all of sudden. I recently loss my father and now have to deal with incompetent workers. No one really knows anything either. It's all over the place. If you can avoid this place, please do so. If you can't, check on your love one everyday. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because my mom have 4 great CNA's who really looked out for her and had beautiful personalities. Other than that, I pray we never have to return to this hell hole. The day of discharge was really frustrating. No clear directions from anyone. My moms wound was in bad shape and the home health nurse was really taken back by how bad it was. Also, my mom came home with a very nasty Foley and UTI.

My mother was in the rehab unit here, and I cannot say enough good things. The facility is very clean and doesn't have the "smell" one often encounters at other facilities. Her room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the neighborhood. Overall, the staff were caring and patient. I often saw the residents hanging out near the nursing stations and the 2nd floor reception desk chatting with the staff, who seemed to generally enjoy interacting with them. They seem to be very proactive about getting residents out of bed. Most importantly, my mother made tremendous progress with her rehab goals.
