Just visited my parents who moved into a cottage last week at Cherry Ridge. From our initial contact with Laura Stamski in marketing, she worked with us to find exactly what they wanted and corresponded with me numerous times over the past year. She is absolutely the BEST!! My folks love their new home and have settled in nicely. I am so happy we found Cherry Ridge, which is very close to their previous home, AND is located in Webster where I grew up. Thank you so much Laura!!!<br><br>Update on 8/18/26: Want to add how much Tito, from Cherry Ridge maintenance, has helped my parents since they moved into a cottage last year. They sing his praises regularly and since I help them long distance, it's a relief to know that CR has someone like Tito assisting residents. He's very friendly, professional, and prompt! Thanks Tito!!

We moved my parents here almost a year ago & they were so reluctant to make this change, but both are thriving!! They’ve made so many new friendships, have many activities that keep them engaged with others. They go on trips to different places on the bus. Their independent apartment is beautiful & i know they are in a safe place. The grounds are spectacular & so well cared for. There’s music performances often & so many laughs. It’s extremely well organized, the staff is fantastic. I would recommend Cherry Ridge to anyone.

We worked with Kandi Scammell to move my grandmother into the independent living apartments. Kandi was so kind and helpful in every step of this major transition. She was so responsive to our emails and left no question unanswered. It’s been a lovely transition for her and we’re so grateful.

I would leave 0 stars if I could.<br><br>My relative gave over $200K to St. Ann’s facilities in 2024. Over this past Memorial Day weekend, we visited her only to find her finger nails caked with feces, her bottom blistered from sitting in her soiled underwear for who knows how long, and her teeth rotting out of her head. This is at least the third time this has happened in the past six months. Other instances in her 3+ years at Cherry Ridge include but are not limited to weight loss, several visits finding her soiled in urine/feces (smeared on her mouth and hands), lack of aid during mealtime (she cannot feed herself), inaccurate dispersal of medication (wrong doses - aids that cannot read decimal points), several falls, isolation - I could go on.<br><br>We feel strongly our relative is not alone in these experiences at St. Ann’s facilities, specifically Cherry Ridge, so please contact me if your loved one is experiencing the same. If you are concerned and cannot get to your loved one, I would be happy to visit them for you.<br><br>We have been quietly and privately advocating for our loved one to get the level of care not only promised by Cherry Ridge/St. Ann’s, but as is deserved as a fundamental human right. We have given St. Ann’s every opportunity to fix things and have been especially fair considering the lack of healthcare workers available in our region. There comes a point where there is no excuse big enough to justify the abhorrent, vile, inhumane treatment my grandmother has experienced. It is the most tragic revelation of my lifetime knowing there are facilities like Cherry Ridge taking upwards of $20,000 per month only to neglect of the most vulnerable humans in our world.
