I will try to make this short. My mother lived in assisted living at baywinde for approximately 4 months. Although, Most of that time was spent in the hospital. Baywinde did not cause her death but contributed to the depression and anxiety leading to her death. From not administering meds that landed her in the hospital to over medicating her because they were not equipped or trained to manage her symptoms. Just calm her down or ease her pain with extra meds.(I might add..apparently over medicating because they ran out of the prescribed dosage meds.) Each hospital stay they would “evaluate her” saying if she could walk a certain distance she could return. There was so much more to her condition than being able to go from point a to point b. But that didn’t matter to the doctors at the hospital or to the staff at Baywinde. Both were getting there money. I will make every attempt to make both accountable for their actions. I do not want anyone to go through what I went through. Do not place a loved one in this facility. I will be writing a separate review for the hospital. Keep your loved one safe. We are their only advocate and we need to make sure they are taken care of properly.<br><br>On a positive note: the receptionist is an angel and if I could give her a separate review I would.

Don't send your loved ones here! They do not medicate properly per doctor or prescription instructions! Very dangerous for the elderly!!!!

We are currently in town looking for Assisted Living facility for our family member. Our experience with the team at Sage Harbor was absolutely outstanding. From touring with Dawn, to having assessment with Ben and the great communication with Sally Kramer. This team went above and beyond. Their professional conduct was outstanding. A++++. Thank you

Although we did not chose Sage Harbor, Sally and the peogram team spent time, knowledge, support and care to us as we were exploring places. I think Sage Harbor is a great place and we would have been comfortable having her there and I would recommend your program to others to explore.
