I would not recommend Carrara Skilled Nursing Center to anyone. My aunt is currently a patient there, and our experience has been extremely disappointing.

Communication has been virtually nonexistent. It is incredibly difficult to get anyone on the phone, and when we do, we struggle to get clear answers or updates about her care. She has also gone without receiving regular baths, which is unacceptable for any patient and raises serious concerns about the quality of care being provided.

As someone who works in healthcare, I understand that facilities can be busy, but there is no excuse for neglecting basic patient care and failing to communicate with families. Every patient deserves dignity, cleanliness, and compassionate, attentive care.

Please think carefully before placing a loved one at this facility. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Carrara Skilled Nursing Center.

Care was good except at night when call lights were often ignored for long periods of time. Food was substandard. Therapy was fair but understaffed. For the most part staff was friendly and respectful with a few snarky individuals. Supervisors had to be requested several times to get good treatment.

I have been to many facilities for physical & occupational therapy this has to be the best one I’ve been in the call light is answered in reasonable amount of time, the staff is awesome, from cleaning, cna’s, doctors, therapy, they are friendly, and caring. I want to especially give a recognition to a cna named Samantha, she is superwoman going room to room to check on call lights, she is staying busy giving excellent patient care, that any one can have, Samantha is one of a kind. A total gem, she’s sweet and caring of all patients Carrara is lucky to have a cna like Samantha.
