I want to share with everyone our family’s 3+ year experience with the Wyndham Court of Plano. We had to place my mother there in February 2023 due to a rare form of dementia. First off, the place is decorated very well, warm and inviting. It is CLEAN and WELL maintained. The food is delicious and nutritious with a variety of meals satisfy a variety of palettes. What is even more important is the care and how this facility is run. Let’s start with Shannon Garcia, the executive director. When we first arrived, she was in charge of nursing. Any medication change, care needs, or you wanted to ask questions, you were given her number and she was ALWAYS accessible. If you reached out to her, you got a call or text back that day. Now, she’s the director and nothing has changed. I can text or call her and I’ll get a response in short order. She knows every resident and is up to speed on each and every case. She staffs this facility with quality, experienced caregivers, maintenance workers, kitchen, the whole nine yards. They are patient and kind to every resident. Tony, the head of maintenance and housekeeping always goes down and turns on my mother’s tv now that she’s lost that capability, fixes every thing she may break or simply adjust her thermostat now that she’s lost those functions. We adore him. There’s not even pages to go into how precious of a man he is to my mother but to all of the residents. HE CARES. Next you have Addy. She’s head of Nursing now. She’ll call doctors to come in if she sees or is reported a problem with a resident. You can text or call her about anything related to your family members care and she’ll call you back if a phone call and conversation is the better option rather than a text. She'll text you back on any matter. Once again the point here, is these employees are accessible, will address all concerns, answer questions, or get answers for your family. Lauren, she’s simply precious. She’s kind, caring, patient, observant, and has to love what she does to care for the elderly the way she does. The dining staff help the residents who often don’t know what to do when a meal is placed in front of them. They’re patient and encouraging. The physical therapy folks are always on hand to keep these residents moving and help with any speech, mobility, and memory issues your family member needs help with. My mother is still a resident just now over 3 years. She is safe, gets her medicine on time, her blood pressure checked, assisted with daily grooming and while still maintaining her dignity and they encourage as much independence as a resident can possibly have. I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews and I’ll call them hogwash. We are a VERY involved family. We check EVERYTHING about a place to care for our mother. We are all in and out of there and we find great comfort in knowing The Wyndham Court of Plano is taking care of our cherished mom. I more than highly recommend this facility. It’s not only a nice place but the professional, experienced, loving staff has made it the best home my mom could have during this most difficult time in her life. You can trust the Wyndham Court of Plano with your family and rest well knowing they are loved.

Wyndham Court provided loving care for my father for six years. We considered it a very good place for his home away from home. He was treated with dignity; it always felt like they were treating him as family would. He truly thrived with healthy meals, activities, and top-notch health care needs.

As a follow-up to my last post, I wanted to thank the family at Wyndham Court of Plano for all the great care they provided to my Mother. Mom just passed a little over a week ago and I got calls from the staff after she passed about how much they loved my Mother and how she made them laugh. Up to the end, the staffs’ care was amazing. I always felt like my mom was happy there and with the staff. I highly recommend this assisted living home. Thank you!!

Wonderful experience with my Mom at Wyndham Court! The staff is caring and engaged, no matter their job. All of the staff knew my Mom by name within a couple of days. The caregivers are kind, careful, and attentive. The chef and her staff are so intentional and gracious! I know Mom is being served good food, and I look forward to it when I am able to join her for meals. We've been there a month and I'm confident we made the right choice!

Upper management is very professional and nice. most the other staff are probably really pleasant as well, but one particular staff member in the memory care unit displayed a level of unprofessionalism and unwarranted opinionated interjections like it was going out of style. I rarely write negative reviews but I felt compelled to under the circumstances.btw, seems a nice place to stay.
