Inconsistent care to the point alot of residents have died back to back along with moving out so alot of rooms are empty .

Our family recently made the difficult decision to remove my mother from Bickford after ongoing concerns related to medication administration, hygiene support, communication, and overall consistency of care.<br><br>Over the course of her stay, we repeatedly documented concerns involving multiple days of missed medications, highly inconsistent medication timing ranging from 4am to 1030am, lack of supervision during medication administration, missed meals, and prolonged hygiene lapses. After requesting a urine screen multiple times over several months, a UTI was ultimately confirmed only after visible blood was observed and outside testing was performed.<br><br>What was most concerning to us was not a single mistake... we understand caregiving is difficult and emergencies happen. It was the repeated lack of follow-through, lack of communication, and the need for our family to continually monitor and identify issues ourselves.<br><br>Memory care residents rely heavily on routine, oversight, and consistency. Families should not have to review cameras to confirm whether medications were administered or meals were provided.<br><br>We truly hoped this placement would work and did not make the decision to leave lightly. In the end, for her health and safety, we felt we had no choice but to move her. No family should have to fight this hard for basic care, communication, and follow-through.

Gave a refundable deposit to reserve a room for my sister. We chose another facility who I gave a 5 star review. I've waited more than 60 days for a $500 refund. Jennifer Hodge has given one excuse after the other. TERRIBLE. Forced to file in small claims court for the refund.
