My mother recently stayed at this rehab facility, and our family couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received from the moment she arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and treated her with kindness and respect a special thank you to Veronica, Nakisha, Chevon, Carolyn, Tamara, and Estephany they were incredibly supportive always took the time to answer my questions and made sure my mom received excellent care. Their compassion and dedication gave our family so much peace of mind. The rehabilitation team was outstanding. They worked patiently with my mom encouraged her every step of the way and help her regain her strength so she could safely return home. It was wonderful to see the progress she made because of their hard work and encouragement. I also wanted to recognize everyone in nursing therapy, housekeeping, and dietary every department played a role in making my mom stay comfortable and positive. It’s clear that this team truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend this rehab facility to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one. Thank you for everything you did for my mom and our family.

My wife was a patient there for two weeks. Her experience was really good. People were wonderful to her staff, medical staff, PT/OT staff… All great. I had Some concerns as a two week visitor to the facility that I thought I would share. I am disabled, on crutches, and for me it’s a pretty long hike from the front door down to where my wife was she was in 1116. But I’m fine to do that… The thing that disappointed me was that you only have three disability spaces near the front door and one all the way back at the end of the meeting that can’t be used as I understand it, by a visitor anyway. The second week I was there a person in a car with no hanger tag and no license plate designation was parked proudly in that one of those three spots every morning by the time I get there. It doesn’t appear that anyone pays any attention to whether or not those spaces are being used appropriately. I also have a suggestion that may or may not be viable, but having had a career and facilities I would think that Cost/benefit ratio would be high on putting a programmable lock on the guest bathrooms on the two floors such that a visitor could get a code when they arrived and not have to trek all the way to a desk somewhere to get a key to go to the bathroom and then track back to drop off the key after going to the bathroom and then trek back again for the desk where the key resides. This would provide a much more pleasant environment for visitors who are disabled or senior and not as mobile as they may have been Earlier in life. Anyway, you will definitely get five stars from Susie as she had a great experience there and mine was good except for these issues with dealing with people who are disabled who are visitors… And I take the time to write this because I would expect that the population we have in there just given the average age , Would attract a lot of visitors who Would appreciate the kind of thoughtfulness that I am outlining. Thank you for asking, Lee Peters.

I have nothing but good things to say about Autumn Lake! The staff is amazing, they are good to my dad and always helpful when I have questions and concerns. They are responsive to needs when they arise as well. The staff from nursing, PCA’s, OT, PT, Speech, SW, kitchen and cleaning everyone has been very accommodating, friendly, and professional. My father has been in a few other Rehabs, Autumn Lake is by far exceeds any care he received at the previous two places.

The staff was amazing including nurses, aides and therapists. They were dedicated and couldn’t do enough for me. The therapists were determined to do the best for me. The therapy equipment was excellent. The only criticism I have is the meals. It was inconsistently good and there was often something missing on my meal tray.
