You want to become familiar with Esther’s law if you have to put a loved one in here. In the state of Ohio Esters’ law is the law that allows you to put a camera the residence room. See posted a picture. This facility has very few residents that are active and out of bed. The majority of them eat in their rooms. And anticipate poor health overtime as they’re not encouraged to get up there not encouraged to take showers. They’re not encourage to change their clothes. The other thing that it’s worth noting is the five star reviews if you Google the people who have done five star reviews they’re either in the marketing of the company or seems to be the first review of the person which means it’s probably an employee. Do your research.

Electronic Monitoring in Long-Term Care Facilities (Esther's
Law)
Esther's Law grants nursing home residents and/or resident representatives the ability to authorize and install electronic monitoring devices in resident rooms to monitor the quality of care received. The legislation behind Esther's Law was sponsored by State Senators Nickie Antonio and Andrew O. Brenner, and signed by Governor Mike DeWine on
December 22, 2021.

I wish there was a zero star for this place because that’s exactly what it deserves. They don’t encourage none other residents to get out of bed. You don’t encourage him to take a shower and when they do, they’re very rude to the residence. I cannot wait to get my brother moved out of this place to another place. The health department needs to come in and check this place out for sure. Don’t worry. I’ll be making that call soon.

The first thing to know is the pictures that are on here posted on here 9 years ago from Arbors is NOTHING what the place looks like now. The second thing you need to know if you have no other choice in sending your love one here there is systematic apathy that runs through this facility from the many residents lying in bed all day on weekends including allowing their food trays sit in their rooms and picking them up with out being touched. My mother when she was there was severely dehydrated and my brother was told she could not have a water cup in her room because she needed thickening liquids. Only after she when she went to the hospital and we expressed concern did the hospice social worker tell us that the law mandates that the facility provide safe water accessible to the resident at all times (see picture) so we known she didn't have a water by in her room what we didn't know at the time was regardless of what kind of fluids they need the facility needs to have it accessible to them. Being across the room when their in bed doesn't count. No water in the dining room by they lobby or nurses' station. Getting the TV on was always an issue too as no one has any remotes. There are good people that worked there between 4/23-6/25 but they come and go because of the many issues. Recent State survey is by the door as you come in. Wish I had seen it before sending my mother there. Rest her soul.
