My sister and I visited Wesley Manor back in October as walk-ins to the Healthcare Center while searching for a place for our aunt. We were warmly greeted by Kim, the Social Services Assistant, who was more than happy to give us a tour, share the history of the building, and explain the roles of the staff. What stood out most was when she said, “I’m not just an employee of Wesley Manor — I’m a daughter first, and I understand how difficult these decisions can be.” That level of compassion meant a lot to us. She took the time to walk us through the admissions process and explained how everything works together, including the support from Trina in Admissions and Katie, the Director of Nursing. Unfortunately, our aunt passed away before we were able to bring her to Wesley Manor. However, during our visit, the staff were incredibly kind, and the residents appeared happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us peace of mind knowing such a caring environment exists for families facing these important decisions.

Wesley Manor is truly an amazing retirement community. The staff is compassionate, patient, and always goes above and beyond for the residents. My mom Kim Sulzer works here as a Social Service Assistant, and seeing how dedicated she is — along with the entire team — gives me so much confidence in the care they provide. You can really feel the warmth, respect, and kindness throughout the building. The residents are treated like family, and it shows in every interaction. I highly recommend Wesley Manor to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be cared for with genuine heart.

Wesley Manor is one of those rare places where you can genuinely feel the warmth the moment you walk in. The staff are kind, professional, and truly seem to care about the people they serve. The campus is peaceful and well-kept, and there’s a real sense of purpose and heart behind everything they do. Louisville is lucky to have a place like this.

Finding the right retirement community for a loved one can be overwhelming and difficult, but Wesley Manor Retirement Community consistently stands out as one of the best options for senior care that I have seen. With its caring and compassionate staff, comfortable living options, and enriching activities, Wesley Manor provides a warm, family like atmosphere where seniors truly feel loved and at home. We moved my mother-in-law to Wesley Manor in March 2024 and have been incredibly impressed with the care she is receiving. The staff is attentive, caring and patient. We see the same friendly faces at every visit and we know this contributes to her comfort. Although the facility is somewhat dated, it is always clean and welcoming.
