About Signature Healthcare Of South Louisville

Signature Healthcare of South Louisville is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Louisville, Kentucky, licensed for 100 residents.

Families' experiences at the facility are starkly divided. Several describe deeply positive encounters, with staff described as attentive, empathetic, and thorough across nursing, therapy, and support roles, one family wrote, "they have an eye or a sense for quality people." These families praise the facility's responsiveness to both resident and family needs. However, at least one recent account raises serious concerns about basic assistance and fall risk management, describing inadequate help with toileting for a resident marked as a fall risk.

The facility holds a 4.2-star Google rating based on 93 reviews. While many families report meaningful, compassionate care, the contrast with reports of neglect suggests consistency in staffing or oversight may be an area to investigate during a visit.

As bad as I didn't want to go to rehab this was the best move I could have made for me. I don't know who can take the credit for hiring the people associated with this facility but they have an eye or a sense for quality people. Everyone I encountered associated with this facility operated at the peak of their professional tasks. Their empathy n humanity touched me.

My mother was just taken there today and already having problems, getting someone to help her get to the restroom. If she falls due to be neglected, there will be a law suit. She's a fall risk right now. You don't put somebody on a toilet and not go help them up when they get done. She can't do and isn't supposed to do it on her own. She better start getting taking care of better. I will be down there soon and will be watching what everyone does. I'll have a camera in the room for the times I'm not there. I've worked in places like this. I know how people get treated and my mother does not get treated like she's a piece of dirt. She is a human. And needs to be treated like she's a person. You worship the ground, they walk on as well as everybody else in that place.
