My mother was there for 6 days and had 4 falls. Timely toileting is a problem although management will tell you call lights are answered within 10 minutes. That is a good goal to keep working toward. Otherwise, staff was friendly and trying to meet the needs of everyone.

The nurses and aids where wonderful. They gave my mom the welcoming feeling of almost being at home. A special shout out to Amanda and Vanessa. Their professionalism and caring really made this stay very comfortable for her. If we need these services again, we will definitely choose the Springs.

By far the best healthcare facility I’ve been in. I LOVE The Springs at Stonybrook. Nursing homes sometimes have the stereotype of being understaffed and having crappy management, but this one is not like that at all. The staff is amazing and care for the residents like family. There’s some past facilities I’ve worked in that I know I would never move a family member into, but if I had someone I love who needed a place to go I know this is a place I would trust and be happy with!

This is a wonderful facility. It felt like a community. The staff was caring and you could tell they genuinely cared for the people who were staying there both in long term and rehab. We were there everyday and can say that even those people who did not have someone there daily were treated like family by staff. I can not say more about how great they were. If you have a choice where your loved one stays this placeshould be top of your list. You could tell the staff supported one another. No egos here. There only goal seemed to be providing the best care. They had activities that we regularly saw people participating in and there was a sense of pride in those who lived in assisted living and called Stoneybrook their home.My mother ended up in hospice and they were truly wonderful to her as well as me and my sister.

My mother has had 2 stays at The Springs at Stony Brook and I have been very pleased both time. Thank you to the staff and campus leaders for always being compassionate, caring and understanding when caring for the residents. My mother really loved her nursing staff and her CRCA's that cared for her. My mother suffers from dementia and sometimes that's a hard transition when they are taken from the comfort of their home/surroundings. This staff made sure she was comfortable and cared for and this made it very easy for her while she was their. Again I can't say enough great things about the staff, leadership and their caring hearts.
