This place has not changed much from the last time I was discharged here from the hospital. I would rate Signature Healthcare East as a poor Healthcare facility. Some of the staff are okay, but it usually takes the staff a half an hour to forty minutes to answer my call light, then I don't know how long to see if my request are attended to. My first night here, I was awaken at 5:30 am from a restful sleep for a pain pill I did request, some of the staff are nice, But overall seem not to be interested in helping me. I almost had to get into a verbal confrontation with the wing supposedly supervisor to get another roll of toilet paper earlier today. If I ask if they have a snack of sort in-between meals, they never have anything. Last night I had to order a delivery from McDonald's at 11:50 pm. I have been told today that I am going to be transferred to a facility tomorrow in Indiana that I did not approve. My advice is not to come to this Healthcare facility or let your family members be sent here. It's all about a money bed being filled to them.

The nurse's stations were ridiculously loud. I was woke up one night in the 300 section to a nurse screaming that somebody didn't like her and she didn't care because they didn't know her. I've been here 3 or4 nights and have been woke up at least once a night to an extra loud nurses station.

Everyone was so good and kind to me. The nurses gave me my medication always on time. The therapist in rehab helped me and taught me how to use my rollator the right way and how to sit on it safely.

The majority of the staff are very compassionate to include the therapy team; who has pushed me to regain some strength. The AIT, Mr.Ed is the absolute best. He is very caring, kind and takes concerns seriously as evident by immediate actions to fix situations. My husband and I joke that we would take him as my caregiver at home. Pandora, Nicole are amazing aides and Nicki in activities have been really good to me as well!
