I’ve had the opportunity to spend a lot of time in this facility and see firsthand the dedication of the team. The CNAs work incredibly hard and show genuine compassion in the way they care for our residents—especially those living with dementia. It’s clear they understand the unique needs and approach each day with patience and respect. The rooms are kept clean and comfortable. The medical staff is attentive, collaborative, and quick to respond when needs arise. What stands out most is how well the entire team works together—nursing, therapy, housekeeping, dietary—all focused on providing excellent care. It’s something I’m proud to witness every day.

We have experienced four care homes with our family members. The Greens has the best care, and most loving staff for our sister and Memory care. I see them every week with many patients and they are equally kind, professional, and caring. We highly recommend The Greens.

After 1.5 years of being their caregiver, and out of exhaustion, I needed to find a place where my parents could be together and have focused care for their dementia (dad with Alzheimer's and mom with vascular dementia). We were able to secure a room for them at The Greens at Hendersonville where they wouldn't be separated (rare, from the research we did of other facilities in the Asheville/Hendersonville area) and would receive the memory care they needed. The staff, nurses, and activities director for the memory care hallway have been incredible. We are very thankful that we found a safe, caring, and professional facility for them.

I want to say a big thank you, to the Greens of Hendersonville. I was there for 3 weeks. I have to say, with out the great staff at the greens of Hendersonville, I would still be laying in a hospital bed. All the nurses and CNA,s and rehab are some of the best people you could meet, and work with. Thanks to Debbie Ward and her staff for everything they did for me. This is an awesome place to be. Thank you all so much. Keith Rice.

UPDATE: JUNE 23RD 2024 Since my last review, there have been MANY new hires and this makes me sooooooo happy. I'm told working and living conditions have improved tenfold! My Mom never complained. She loved it at The Greens and it was very hard to watch her in so much pain (cancer.) Mom passed away October 17, 2023. Mom was incredibly loved by all of the staff and Miss Emma (Nurse) and Kayla (CNA) were her favorite caregivers. I'm grateful to see that the OWNERS of The Greens stepped up and took action. The previous problems were out of managements hands. Below, I have shared a video of Mom blowing kisses to Kayla. It's sad to read my previous review and remember how scared I was for my mom. She was the BEST mom and she deserved the best of care. Thank you for greatly improving. ALL concerns have now been addressed and taken care of. ----------------------------------------------------- The Greens at Hendersonville in North Carolina is grossly understaffed. THREE nighttime nurses cannot affectively tend to 120 patients in pain. And one of the three will be leaving tomorrow. The nurses and CNA'S are wonderful and doing the best they can with the limited help that the OWNERS of the facility are willing to provide. The phones are never answered. This is heartbreaking and extremely frustrating to worried out-of-state relatives AND to the Hendersonville Police Department and to Pardee Hospital trying to set up return transportation for patients returning from the ER Department. There are still complaints with the food quality. The fire alarm goes off often and randomly. For some reason absorbant bed pads are no longer being used. They supply additional blankets. Senseless. So I purchase moms absorbant pads from Sam's Wholesale myself...and her disposable briefs and her cups and lids. I spend the night with mom to carry her to and from the bathroom, because no help is available. A staff can only do so much, when there is a terrible trickle down affect, due to a severe lack of ownerships' involvement. Perhaps, more time in the boardroom addressing critical concerns from patients, family and staff will be much more affective than an emotionless online reply to the many public comments/reviews on this page. Do your job and take care of your facilities and its employees so that your patients will thrive. Lives are at stake. This is our only alternative right now.
