BEWARE OF MEMORY CARE!! Absolutely NOT a place where people that need help should go. Leaving someone in their room for 12 hours alone and not checking in on them once is terrible! Expressed concerns are blown off even with medical documentation. I will be talking to the DPOA to see if they will be filing a complaint with the state.

They are HORRIBLE!!! They killed my mother. The nurse was fired afterwards but she was directly responsible for my mother's death. The director is so ineffectual and no one respects him. The staff does whatever they want. My mom was healthy, only high blood pressure and she would get reaccuring UTI's. They were supposed to test her every 4 weeks.The nurse lied to us and told us she checked....and no one ever checked her .. there is no one at all who looks over the residents. The nurse was abusive and very nasty. She stole my mom's iPhone and who knows what else. Keep your parents away from this place! It is all pretty and nice on the surface but trust me they are not!<br>In response , I went through the proper channels. ASK THE INEFFECTUAL director to see my emails which listed all of my concerns. Look at the phone records how many times I called him. I live out of town and told him I would be there in a few weeks. I went to see him and he did absolutley nothing! He never checked . I was on the phone with my mom while I heard the nurse screaming at here and my mom crying... did Michael ever check on that? NO. I told him how sick she was getting to make sure she was getting tested . Did he go check the records? NO . When I got there I walked to the nurses station and they checked in two minutes.. by that time she was in the hospital and died shortly afterwards. I went through the proper channels ! NO ONE DID ANYTHING! she suffered needlessly and it is directly the enclaves fault. I talked to many aides there and nurses... Not one of them have any respect for Michael. NOT ONE. he does nothing. The place is horrible!!!!

Our mom had been a resident at Enclave of Newell Creek in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Mentor, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. The staff is friendly, caring, and professional, and they truly took great care of our mom.<br>We were so happy to find such a wonderful, safe, and clean place for her. Every time our family visited, everyone was kind and welcoming. It meant so much to know she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared.<br>They offer activities for the residents and many fun things that keep everyone engaged and connected. The team goes above and beyond for the residents every day.<br>A special shout-out to Walter, the nurses and all the caregivers for the compassion and dedication they showed. Our family highly recommends Enclave of Newell Creek!

Going through the reviews, isn’t it a little biased to have management review and rate, isn’t Ms. Carlo the DON of your facility? I see other management in the reviews as well.

Don't be fooled by the facade! If your loved one is in Memory Care, they are ignored. The brochure tells you a wonderful story, but the management can't deliver. i thought that the most expensive place meant the best care. I was very wrong. I have met 3 times with management in the 4 months she has been there and they can't seem to keep my very mobile mother clean and happy. I SPEND MORE TIME CLEANING HER, AND HER ROOM, WHEN I VISIT THAN I ACTUALLY GET TO SPEND VISITING MY MOM WHEN IM THERE. Kirsten (the Memory Care Director) and Michael (the Executive Director) ignore my requests for better care and bury their heads in the sand. They are more focused on the Assisted Living side. I don't understand how they can accept that my mother spends so much time in a full, wet brief or that she had to sleep 2 nights with just a top sheet because their staff never checked on her after taking her bedding to be washed, or the fact that she is locked out of her room all day. She has dementia! She needs care and they are unqualified and unable to care for her. Please don't send your loved one here.
