Hello from Eileen Scanlon of Scanlon's Traveling Salon...<br>While parked in a local parking lot today I could see a gentleman, and I mean a GENTLEman assisting senior seniors through this parking lot and assisting these residents onto a Bristal bus..<br>I sat in awe (in my car) of this person's kindness, respect, empathy, professionalism and humour..<br><br>As I was doing paperwork in my car, I heard this joyous laughter.. something I'm drawn to in a NY minute.. while observing Moses, the driver/escort of/to the residents there was a clear vibe.of warmth, lightness and trust.. I got out of my car to compliment his complete n utter awesomeness.. I followed up by calling his supervisor to compliment.. Moses is a fabulous example of professionalism, empathy and respect in a time period in which these qualities are basically extinct...<br><br>Yayyyy for Bristal for having such a fantastical employee...

The Bristal Assisted Living at Jericho is a pleasant, nurturing, polite and generous location. It's cleanliness is beyond measure. Their safety and security are paramount to the staff and management. As a practicing private nurse my patient lives here on the reflections side.<br><br>Ms. Jennifer Kelleher, who belongs to the Health & Lifestyle Department (HLD) is one of the most well known members here at the Bristal Assisted living at Jericho.<br><br>Jen truly is inspiring, kind, compassionate and patient, nothing short of an asset. She is always and I mean always welcoming to the residents and staff. Her work ethic goes unchallenged, and unmeasured for the residents and family of the Bristal. She has a unique and charismatic way of keeping the residences engaged, uplifted and satisfied. Day in and day out she brings this wonderful energy and I can personally say that we all truly value her presence here.

I recently drove in from New Jersey to visit my aunt at The Bristal of Jericho, and I was truly touched by the warmth of the experience. Sylvia, the Director of Wellness, and her team were incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional from the moment I arrived. My aunt often speaks highly of the wellness department, but seeing it firsthand made me understand just how much they mean to her. They treat her with such compassion and genuine care—it’s clear she feels like family there. It’s comforting to know she considers The Bristal her true home.

Sylvia Henderson was an absolute blessing while caring for my grandma. She showed so much compassion, patience, and genuine kindness every step of the way. You can tell she truly cares about her patients, not just doing her job but going above and beyond to make people feel comfortable and respected. Our family is incredibly grateful for the care she provided. She made a difficult time a lot easier, and we’ll never forget that.
