DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, my relative has been staying here, they always say she’s unable to speak on the phone, she’s been left in soiled diapers for hours and going through neglect. We are currently contacting adult protective services.

Absolute joke of a facility that needs to be shut down its messy not organized. My father was on hospice and its all I can do to flag people down to get him meds to make him feel ok. They cram people in 4 people to a room. If you can avoid sending you loved one there do it.

Some of the staff are not doing their jobs while leaving the patients unattended with Food allowing patients to invade other patients areas asking for help to escape or call someone out of facility to help them asking for translations and neglected for food and water and baths and grooming leaving some of the staff understaffed or pressured to do it all themselves while some of the c n.a.ssit at the tables. Nurses and some n.a. falsely accusing family members who visit of interdereing when the staff approach them for help or to ask for help in a assisting for emergency translations of patients screaming in languages nurses refuse to adhere to correct interpreters for assistance. Privacy policies are not followed, patients rights are not observed and sanitation for linen or clothing changes are not made appropriately and patients go without being turned. Nurses leave dirty gloves on chairs tables and touch patient family members while wearing dirty gloves and not disposing them. Opening containers and nurses leave trash u properly recycled . Nurses and Management notified even social services but spouse isn't given rest due to other roommates behaviors and privacy interuotiins during family visits.

DO NOT GO HERE. they had my father crammed into a room with 4 people. They were like sardines. The Staff is super rude and thinks that because someone has neuropathy that they will be able to walk around. they caused my father to have bed sores and then blamed him for the injury. the food is terrible, and they don't give enough portions to feed everyone. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO.

To someone who doesn't have a relative with late stage Alzheimer's or some other horrific memory loss disease, Gracelen Terrace might appear to be less than the safe haven it is. My husband is a resident because I can't give him the best care anymore. I have personally observed that the staff members are respectful to the residents and gentle in their interactions. Few people want to put a relative in a home but since I can't do it myself I'm glad he is in Gracelen Terrace.
