My mom has lived here for years. It is a very safe place for her. It is gated, and the front desk is manned at all times. There is a Publix a block away and all kinds of restaurants here on Riverside. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is very helpful. Not to mention the view, her room overlooks the St. John's river. Beautiful! Top marks for this place.

Truly exceptional for HUD Independent living - you may think I'm exaggerating. Every staff member I've met (administrators of various expertise, maintenance, dietary, custodians) seems eager to make sure I have everything I need and more. Every resident I've met is truly content, if not extraordinarily happy.<br>As for pest control (as in all congregate living) treatment is done regularly and ALSO AS NEEDED if you request it. I haven't seen any pests. Renters,in HUD and non-HUD apartments, could be poor housekeepers or bring pests in - this can't be completely controlled. And it is Florida!<br>If you see anything of any kind that needs attention, report it, and I'm sure every attempt will be made to remedy the problem
