As a family member, I know firsthand how demanding home health care can be. It's a challenging field that requires compassion, patience, and constant coordination. The office staff at Excelsior Home Health work incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and we truly appreciate all they do. This agency pays better than any other agency I've worked for in the past 14 years. While extra hours aren't always available, there are often opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Although I can't always get my preferred schedule, Shelby does her best to work around my school schedule and my private business, making sure I have the opportunity to work whenever I want to.

As a CNA for this agency, I can confidently say it is the best that I have ever worked for. The staff at the agency office are kind, hardworking people that respond quickly to concerns and are proactive with both patient and worker care and needs. I feel comfortable calling for support while on the field, and they are always thinking of me and my needs as an employee so I never feel forgotten or just another number for them to work with. They work with my schedule and are always making sure that I have work that works for me and the patients they connect me to. Shelby is such a bright and effective person - always able to connect with workers and patients alike to provide us all with a great experience and make pathways for even better care. Ms. Amanda is also so hardworking and supportive - anything we need she works hard to provide, including education, field support, relief and more. They vet their workers well so I enjoy all my coworkers and even work with them to advance in the caretaking field so we can all be our best for ourselves and our patients. I've never had such a proactive and positive work experience while in healthcare, and I really appreciate the effort this agency puts in to ensure they provide the greatest care imaginable for everyone involved. I can't express how thankful I am for this company. As the parent of a child with special needs, trusting someone with her care is tough, but they have been a true blessing. The caregivers feel like family, and my daughter lights up when she sees them. Having reliable support 24 hours a day brings me and my husband peace of mind, and Excelsior is truly the best home health agency in Jacksonville.
