My husband and I moved to Westminister Woods on Julington Creek in December of 2024. We are very happy with everything — our apartment in Magnolia and how spacious it is but especially the incredible view of the water. We love to take walks through the lovely grounds as we appreciate the hard work of the people who care for the grounds. The staff is amazing especially the tram drivers and the dining staff. We love the Director of Philanthropy—we actually are happy with everyone on the staff. Magnolia is a wonderful place to live with a family-like atmosphere. These people are now our family and we are very comfortable here. This is our home.

Jan and I moved here in December of 2024 leaving a house in Orange Park where we had lived for over 42 years. It was a difficult decision and an emotional move for us but we are thankful that we made this move to Westminster Woods on Julington Creek. We are so very happy here with our neighbors in Magnolia but also with the staff. Everyone we meet whether it is staff or resident, is friendly and courteous. Living in Magnolia is such a blessing to both of us as we enjoy our privacy but we also enjoy the social times in the Magnolia lobby. The property is rustic in places and pristine in other places which makes it very special. We love walking the areas. Our apartment is very spacious and even though it took some planning, we have found a place for just about everything that we need. Jan is a great organizer and she has it under control so we can live comfortably here in Magnolia. We love our new home.

My husband and I came to Westminster Woods on Julington Creek because of the full range of medical care levels offered on this campus. We first made use of the brand new Memory Care Building and the creative program offered there for residents with memory challenges. Now, my husband is in Skilled Nursing and quite content, and I am in an apartment for independent living residents. We enjoy walks on the beautiful campus—filled with flowers and various wildlife. There are many events offered and we take advantage of them! Our family members visit often and they enjoy the dining and walking around the lovely grounds.

We were attracted to WWJC because of the ever so friendly staff and the beautiful environment. It is so peaceful here! The birds, squirrels, ducks, geese, little lizards, the occasional alligator, and ever so much more! And there is the creek, the ponds, and the stunning trees. We chose to live in the garden apartments. The buildings are unique. The apartments have a lot of natural light due to the skylights. We also have a cathedral ceiling which is a lovely addition. The food is very tasty! Lots of entree choices in addition to the salad choices, soups, drinks, desserts! Activities; there are so many activities to choose from. No matter what our physical and mental abilities are, we have every opportunity to improve, or at the minimum maintain, through exercise programs and challenging games. Of course, it's not perfect here. At our age, we will hear complaints. But, that's to be expected when there are over 450 residents, all different personalities and backgrounds. But, I find it interesting that every person that talks with me and has a complaint, will finish with the words, "I wouldn't want to live anywhere else."
