This is such a warm and welcoming community! The staff are always friendly, approachable, and truly make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. There’s a genuine sense of community throughout the retirement, assisted living, and memory care neighborhoods.

The amenities are especially impressive—from the beautiful restaurant-style dining room to the movie theater, there are so many thoughtful touches that make this feel like much more than a senior living community. Everything is consistently clean, comfortable, and well cared for.

Communication is also excellent, which makes such a difference for residents and families. You can tell the team takes pride in creating a place where people feel connected, supported, and at home. A truly wonderful community!

My Mom has been at Primrose almost a year. We toured other facilities and decided Primrose was the place that would be right for Mom. Megan was a big help along with Heather and the rest of the staff. I know everyone there enjoys having Suzie there and they show it. My Mom really enjoys being around everyone there. I appreciate knowing she is being cared for by the staff.

My Uncle at 98 years old has thrived during his stay at Primrose Retirement Community.

His engagement in the community has been fostered by his involvement in the gardening club (both outside and inside with my towergarden that visited the center ) .
The social aspects of joining others in the dining room has fostered so many friendships.

He has thrived with the excellent meals served in the dining room. He is at his best health ever since he has moved there !

The watchful eye of unit staff helps us feel relieved that he is comfortable and happy.

Love the nursing/care giving staff. The facility is clean and cared for. The maintenance team is great.

The food however, needs to be improved. Too long on one menu. By the end of the month they are so tired of the same things over and over. And these options are often not very good. Residents deserve better food. I have eaten there with my mom and it is pretty bad. The residents consistently complain.

My mother, moved into Primrose Assisted Living, in Pleasant Prairie, in October of 2025.

Before she even decided to move into Primrose, Megan had us come, for 3-4 lunches, so mom could get a feel of what it would be like, if she moved there.

We were both very impressed, with the atmosphere, the staff, the food, the size of the apartments, how clean it was, and, all of the activities they have.

Having a parent, moving into an assisted living, or nursing home, is something that isn’t easy to do, or to take lightly. To have them living somewhere, where you (and them) know absolutely no one, is scary! You hear about people being mistreated, etc,
You wonder if you’re making the right decision.

Well….I need to say, that, I (we), have had nothing to worry about, with her there! It’s such a pleasant, happy, and positive place. The staff are always very attentive, caring, kind, thoughtful, and work very hard, to make sure the residents are taken care of! And, it shows!

They are always there, ready and willing, to help, to listen to any questions, or concerns, that we may have. They never make you feel like you’re bothering them. If I call, and leave a message for them to call me back, they are very expedient about it. I haven’t had a problem, with the lines of communication, at all.

We were very impressed, with all of the activities as well ! We felt, that the activities, would help/aide her, into making connections with the other residents, and to make some new friends! She really enjoys them! She’s been doing the seated chair exercises, since day 1!

I have come, for a handful of activities, myself. I was very impressed, and, I had a wonderful time! 😍 I plan on attending more!

So, that being said…..I haven’t lost one iota of sleep, since she moved in! I can rest well, and most assuredly, that she is being taken care of, each and every day at Primrose.

If anyone is looking for a wonderful, reputable, assisted living, for their loved ones…..please check them out! I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say at this juncture.
Sincerely, Gina Skarda
