I toured Sunrise of Gurnee with Tammy. She was very knowledgeable about the community and all that they offered. I also got to meet their community dog "Cubbie"!<br>The residents seemed very happy and well cared for. The community was also very clean and inviting. I really liked the "home like feel" that this community offered. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Gurnee if you are looking for assisted living or memory care options in the Gurnee area.

Today Monday March I visited Sunrise and I was very well received by everyone and I commend especially Ms. Tammy the Director of sales ( as well as by Teresa (Director of Nursing ), Pam in-the dining facility ( who offered me a delicious lunch), Daniel in Care coordination and in fact all with whom I came into contact with. Tammy in particular took time away from her busy schedule to formulate a quote for living at Sunrise….I wish I could afford the handsome units she displayed but currently- as I await the proceeds of a Personal injury lawsuit the Monthly payment was outside my budget but Tammy supplied me with the names of several properties hopefully within my current budget…. For those currently more fortunate than I, I think Sunrise would be a great place. Thank you- jpg

Place is nice but overpriced. Family came to tour here and staff seemed to be overwhelmed and overworked. The food is the same for lunch and dinner, only one meal is different. Please respond here and not say to reach out to you through email.

Place is great but way over priced and staff is underpaid. The head cook here seems to cut corners and give ridiculous food. Care givers seem to be overworked and stressed out.

The food is worse than cafeteria quality. It's all frozen and reheated despite how expensive the rent is. The only fruit the residents get is cantaloupe, canned peaches, and canned pineapple. The head chef cuts corners and speaks rudely to employees and does not care about resident satisfaction
