If I had to only rate the physical and occupational therapist I would award 5 stars. Unfortunately I have to rate my overall experience. I was a patient here for a month getting rehab. The nurses and aids were a crap shoot on whether you would get both really good, both really bad, or one of each. The average wait time when you ring for help is about 1 hour 10 minutes. So, don't ring if you need immediate assistance. My roommate rang for help while she was in the restroom. No one came. She yelled out to me to please get her some help. I went into the hall and saw a nurse. I asked her to please come help. She proceeded to yell down the other hallway to the aid. No one came. I went to the hall a second time. This time there were 2 nurses in the hall. I asked please can someone come help. They again yelled down the hall to the aid. Again, no one came. I went to the hall a third time. This time 3 nurses in the hallway. I finally lost it and said " really there are 3 of you in the hall and no one can come help?" The nurse closest to me said " we are nurses. That isn't our job. That is the job of the aids." Again i lost my temper and said " really, you don't know how to.help a resident in the bathroom." Needless, to say the aid finally came after she finished up what she was doing. There are more stories I could tell but this is the worst of what I witnessed. If you are smart you won't be admitted here or let any of your family. I hope they take what I have said here and try to improve.

My father in law was at Northampton for 4 months. I had him at a 5 star skilled nursing facility in Montgomery Co before this and it was AWFUL! The people in that facility did not care! When we were going to move him here and I saw the rating I thought to myself how can it get any worse. This place was AMAZING! The staff was EXTREMELY caring and took the best care of my father in law. The facility definitely needs remodeling but this review is for the all the people in that building…nurses, CNA’s, staff, front desk, helpers and EVERYONE that works there. Their hearts are huge and your family member will be loved on and cared for with respect ! Do not believe the low ratings! I can’t say enough good things about the staff here. So grateful for each and every one of them! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for caring for Bill!!!

My mil was a patient in this nursing home for about 5 weeks. She laid up in this place 5 days with a UTI and became unresponsive-5 DAYS!!! They called Saturday and asked if we would like her to go the hospital. Really??? Uh yeah, you think? Her kidneys had totally shut down and she went into sepsis, and died at the age of 69!!!! The nh wants $300 for the day early she went in the home. Please do not put your loved ones in this death trap!!! I wouldn't even put my worst enemy there.

My Dad was a resident at Northampton Manor for roughly 10 years. Overall, the staff was great, kind and loving. Like with any nursing home we've experienced, as he had been at a few prior, there's some ups and downs and occasionally a staff member that he didn't like so much, but Northampton was by far the best he had experienced. With that said, for a reasonably priced nursing home option, they were great overall and I would recommend them.

This facility is scary. When I first arrived everything was good. As the days progressed things got worse. Nurse's were either good or very bad. No in-between food, what can I say when I first arrived food was Hot and nutritional as the days went by it got worse. No more balanced meals. They became full of carbohydrates and little protein. Breakfast became pancake, sausage tea or coffee no longer any fresh fruit. Spoke to dietician few times and promised improvement. Still waiting. On the good side physical therapy is great. They take their time and make sure your improving. Wound care came by to check sore and treat. No other activities to speak of. When comparing area nursing homes unfortunately this Place is one of the better ones. Good luck
