If you’re looking for memory care for a loved one, Silverado Frederick should be at the top of your list. Every staff member I have met is incredibly passionate about not only caring for residents but truly getting to know them, their families, their stories, and what makes each person unique. Silverado feels like family from the moment you walk through the doors, where you’re greeted with a warm smile and often a furry friend or two! The community is beautiful, clean, and peaceful. This is a truly special community filled with incredible people (and pets!) who have dedicated their lives to providing comfort and support during what can be an overwhelming journey.

I cannot recommend Silverado highly enough. They are simply amazing!<br><br>Our family member, who sadly has early onset Alzheimer’s, has been a resident at Silverado Memory Care for seven months now, and we finally feel we’ve had enough time to write a review that truly reflects our experience — and it’s an overwhelmingly positive one.<br><br>From day one, we didn’t just want our loved one to be “safe” — we wanted her to be alive: engaged, connected, and happy. Silverado has exceeded that hope. She’s not merely kept busy with generic activities; she’s genuinely engaged in programming that feels meaningful to her as a person. She’s treated with dignity, warmth, and respect in every single interaction, and it shows in her mood and wellbeing.<br><br>What sets Silverado apart is the consistency of care across every single department. The administrative staff, nursing team, social workers, aides, engagement coordinators, housekeeping, maintenance, and dining staff are all amazing, caring and professional. Everyone that is employed at Silverado has training in dementia care and it shows! There’s no weak link — everyone treats residents with the same compassion and expertise.<br><br>What we didn’t fully anticipate was how much Silverado would support us, the family. We’re invited to join our loved one for meals at no charge, attend free educational presentations and family support groups, and all families are invited monthly to dine out (Silverado’s treat) with other families so we are able to build our own community with people who understand exactly what we’re going through. That kind of thoughtfulness toward families is rare and speaks volumes about the culture at Silverado.<br><br>Silverado isn’t just a memory care facility — it’s a nurturing, loving environment for both residents and the families who love them. We couldn’t be happier with our choice, and we recommend them wholeheartedly.

I recently toured Silverado in Frederick, MD and was very impressed with the overall experience.<br>From the moment I entered the community and saw my name displayed on the welcome board in the lobby, it was clear that attention to detail and personalization are priorities. Lindsey, the Community Ambassador, conducted a thorough and well-organized tour. She was knowledgeable, professional, and provided thoughtful insight into the community’s programs and approach to care.<br>The environment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Staff members were courteous, attentive, and appeared highly competent in their roles. It was also encouraging to observe residents actively engaged in a structured activity, reflecting a purposeful and supportive community atmosphere.<br>Overall, Silverado presents as a well-managed, resident-centered community with a strong commitment to quality and professionalism.
