Dad was unhappy the first week he was in the facility, but then he started to enjoy it. He seems very happy after just a couple of months. The staff are very attentive to his needs and are so nice. They seem to care about the veterans. The administration always has things planned for them, which include family as well. Our family feels that we made the right choice in placing dad here.

The Veterans Home here in Salisbury has taken such wonderful care of my dad, and our family couldn’t be more grateful. The activities staff is just amazing. They keep my dad engaged, smiling, and involved, and it means the world to us to see him enjoying himself and staying active. Michael with his patience for all our needs and his entire maintenance folks deserve a huge shout‑out they are always on top of everything, incredibly helpful and truly take pride in keeping the building running smoothly. You can tell they care about the residents and the environment they live in one we watched them touching up paint and hanging a new TV then grilling food for an event it just seemed impossible! I also have to mention the receptionists Kim and Jessica always warm, welcoming, and kind. Walking through the front doors feels comforting because of the way they greet everyone and yes… the cookies! They are genuinely some of the best you’ll ever have It’s such a small thing, but it adds so much warmth to the experience. Even though the building itself is older, it is unbelievably fresh, clean, and well maintained. You can tell the staff works hard to keep everything inviting. It feels like a place where people truly care. We are so thankful for the love, attention, and respect my dad receives here. This home is a blessing to the veterans.
