Trinity at Home

Trinity at Home provides in-home personal care and support services in Salisbury, North Carolina, allowing older adults and others requiring care to remain comfortably in their own homes. A program of Lutheran Services Carolinas, a faith-based nonprofit ministry serving the Carolinas since 1962, Trinity at Home began operations in January 2015 and is licensed by the state of North Carolina.

The service offers an array of home care options, whether needed on a regular basis or for periodic respite care. Caregivers are trained and skill-tested for their tasks with ongoing education, and the program emphasizes creating individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Trinity at Home strives to provide consistency by matching clients with the same caregiver when possible and building long-term relationships; when clients require many hours of care, multiple caregivers may be scheduled. Some caregivers can administer medications or assist with reminders, and all receive both in-house and outside training in caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Services are billed on an hourly basis with no long-term contracts required; clients may continue services as long as desired or discontinue at any time. There are no authorization requirements, and clients choose the specific services they need. A registered nurse can conduct a free in-home care assessment to discuss particular needs and help develop a custom care plan, with care often beginning within 24 hours.

Trinity at Home follows all federal and state guidelines regarding privacy of personal and healthcare information, with only office staff and assigned caregivers having access to client information, which is never sold to third parties.
