The staff & nurses were, in general, on top of whatever issues would arrive. They were, for the most part, caring & as attentive as they could be considering they had other clients they had to attend to as well. But as the clients family you have to be vigilant & present yourself. They cared for my husband the best they could considering his circumstances. At least when he did pass, I know he was at peace & that he was no longer in pain. I give my heartfelt thanks to the nurses who cared for my husband & especially to the nurse that was with him just before he passed, thank you & may God bless you for this calling on your life. It takes a very special person to care for someone else’s loved one when they may have a special need. You’re our extended family member when we’re not able to be present & that’s such a comfort to the family as a whole. I recommend Meadowbrook to those of you looking for a home away from home to care for your loved one BUT as I mentioned earlier… BE VIGILANT & as ever present as you can be. Your presence means everything. Thanks again & may God’s blessings be on all those at Meadowbrook.
