Went to visit my 90 yr old grandma and she was laying on the floor. Asked her what happened and she said she fell and she’s been calling the nurses but they’ve just been walking by looking at her. My grandma is pretty smart still so when she asked the nurse “why didn’t you come when i was calling for help? You just kept walking by” i believed her. The nurse tried to come up with an excuse “oh i had to give another patient his meds” SMH and on top of that my grandma got a HUGE bed sore on her back from here that looked like it was neglected. I am not over exaggerating when i say you can see the different layers in the hole on her back from the flesh to the fat to the veins to the bone.. it is HORRIFIC. And this place did nothing about it we had to rush my grandma to the ER because we can smell her sore from a mile away.. i would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place to ANYONE!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The way she was treated here is heartbreaking. She was neglected so badly that she ended up with a severe bedsore and had to be hospitalized. No one should ever have to go through that, especially someone who depends on others to care for them.<br><br>This place is HORRIBLE always short-staffed, and it shows. The residents deserve so much better than this. We trusted them to take care of my grandma, and they failed her. It’s devastating to see someone you love suffer because they weren’t given the care they deserved.<br><br>Please, if you’re looking for a place for your loved one, do your research first. I wouldn’t wish what our family has been through on anyone.

Don't take clothing you like or want to keep because they will loose them and not try to find them. When you are discharged you will be missing clothing and they will say they will try to find them but you will never hear back from them and you will NEVER see your clothes again unless you visit there and someone else is wearing them. They also were supposed to get home health going. There was confusion and they NEVER got it going. They DROP the ball on many things. It is pitiful!!!!!!!!!!

The team does an exceptional job here with caring for the residents and working together to prevent rehospitalizations. The compassion they show in their daily interactions is unmatched and is a beacon of excellence in a difficult industry. I would gladly recommend my loved ones to any of the Monument buildings and especially Taylorsville.

I have been here 4 weeks. My second stay here.<br>I am very happy with the compassion and knowledge of staff on all levels. The facility is bright and cheerful. Great effort is made to have multiple daily activities. My physical therapy is well run. There is a constant variety in our meals.<br>I have healed rapidly. I'm sure the generally upbeat care I have received has helped.
