One of the most unprofessional medical establishments I have ever been to. I had a family member that was called names by there staff when she was so sick and confused it broke my heart. I would not take another one of my family members there if it was free of charge. Please pick better for your family and don't make the same mistake our family made.

My mother is there. She's been complaining about the staff alot. I feel they should have more compassion and respect for the people that they take care of. Your suppose to enjoy what you do for a living. I wouldn't recommend this facility to go to!!

Terrible communication, theft, facility neglect, and systemic breakdown of patient care<br>I am incredibly disappointed and concerned with the severe level of neglect, theft, and building deterioration at Monument Health. If you are reading the positive reviews here about the "great staff" or nice facility, please know that is completely inaccurate.<br><br>The communication and basic utility maintenance here are broken. Nurses do not return phone calls, and the landline phone inside the patient's room does not work. This is not an isolated incident; there is clearly a systemic issue where multiple phones and equipment—including patient TV remotes—are left completely broken, cutting patients off from entertainment and vital communication with their families.<br><br>The staff is also entirely unaccommodating. On a nice afternoon, a visitor took the tracks and then a bus just to come visit. Even though the weather was beautiful, the nurse flat out refused to let the patient go outside, forcing the visitor to go through the unnecessary hassle of signing the patient out just to step outdoors. Worse than the poor service is the outright theft and severe physical neglect:<br><br>Deteriorating Rooms: The building is poorly maintained. There is chipping paint in the bathroom and noticeable patches of missing paint on the walls in the patient rooms.<br><br>Theft of Belongings and Food: The patient arrived with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Someone kindly bought them two sets of pajamas, and the tops were immediately stolen. Furthermore, patient food and beverages must be kept in the refrigerator located inside the nurses' station—which only staff has access to—yet the patient's food and drinks are actively being stolen from it. This was reported, but absolutely nothing was done.<br>Severe Physical Neglect: While the nurses can be seen running around, joking, and having fun, actual patient care is being ignored. There is a patient who has been left lying in their own feces for three days because none of the nurses want to deal with it.<br><br>Because of the severe hygiene neglect, broken communication utilities, and unaddressed theft, the State Department of Health needs to be contacted to launch a formal investigation into this facility.

I had a recent positive experience with Brian the social service. He really is doing a lot to help me and my brother who is currently there with some issues. Bryan has done a very very lot to help me and I appreciate him to death. You’re such a good person.

I recently visited this facility and meet with Luci and other staff members that are helping provide care and coordinate Doctor appointments for my brother. I was grateful for their professionalism and efforts to assist my brother. I would highly recommend this facility. I was impressed with the staff that I meet, who’s life’s work is to assist others in this care facility, who in many cases find themselves in challenging circumstances.
