I stayed at Monument Health Milcreek for a couple of weeks after I had a bad fall. The faculty is lovely and spotless. The staff are kind and caring. They carefully coordinated with trips to my doctor and my insurance company. The Physical Therapy iis extremely good and got me back to the point I needed to go home safely I highly recommend them for any rehab you may need.

My mom stayed here for a couple weeks after knee replacement surgery. The facility is very clean and well kept. Her room was very comfortable with easy access to television and bathroom. The food was fantastic. She was a little worried because friends who had been in other skilled nursing facilities all said “care was great, food sucked”. But here the food was great. Most of the nursing and CNA staff were wonderful as well. She received excellent care and therapy to prepare her for going back home after surgery

My family suggested this rehab facility when we learned I needed rehab after knee replacement surgery. My friends suggested other places but after visiting the location and talking with staff, I decided to be placed here. That’s a decision I don’t regret. As with each facility, it took me some adjustment but the overall choice was a very positive decision. The breakfast that reinforced my decision was the waffle with warm fruit compote, a Belgian waffle with diced peaches and strawberries was my favorite meal. Fresh rolls, manicotti, beef pot roast, flavored oatmeal all served to increase the meal quality. The snacks offered were great, imagine being able to choose from fresh berries, grapes, broccoli slaw, cottage cheese, fresh bananas, apples, pear and puddings all by asking for them. Some of the staff were simply amazing, nurses and CNA’s were attentive. Overall my stay was pleasant and the facility was very clean. I would suggest this facility to anyone needing some care.

If I could leave NEGATIVE stars, this horrible establishment would have earned that rating. We had high hopes that bringing our mom to Monument Health Millcreek would help her continue healing, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.<br><br>Before her arrival, the facility assured our case worker that a walker with an arm platform—equipment that was essential to her recovery—would be ready for her. They also confirmed they would arrange for one to be sent home with her. Instead, we were repeatedly told that "someone would look into it," but nothing was ever done, even after we were assured by management it would be handled. I was promised a call back, and they failed to carry through on that as well (thanks, Elliott).<br><br>For two days, my mom made virtually no progress because she couldn't safely practice walking or mobility without the proper equipment. Our repeated requests for updates and assistance were ignored, and no one took ownership of resolving the issue.<br><br>Because of the lack of communication, follow-through, and urgency from Monument Health Millcreek, my mom ultimately felt she had no choice but to leave against her doctor's recommendation. That decision placed a significant burden on our family and negatively impacted her recovery.<br><br>If you're considering this facility for a loved one, I encourage you to look elsewhere. Based on our experience, communication was poor, our concerns went unanswered, and valuable time that should have been spent on recovery was lost. I hope the facility addresses these issues so other families don't have a similar experience. Monument Health Millcreek is the epitome of why people hate these places. Do not bring your loved ones to this establishment if you expect to have them receive the care needed to heal and progress back to being independent. Shame on this business and their poor management.

My dad passed away in April. He was at Monument Health Millcreek. The staff there were great with my aunts, my sister's, and myself. They took good care of him, especially when they had to put him on transitional care. The staff treated us like family. They let us cry on there shoulders, and told us we are more than welcome to come back and just sit if we need to. Thank you to all the staff and the comfort you gave to us as we went through the lose of our dad.
