My grandpa stayed at Apple rehab Hewitt for a short term rehab. And that was the best therapy team we ever met. I have been his caregiver for a couple years now: and brought him to many places , but this was the best so far, rehab staff so attentive and motivated . Highly recommend

I am happy to post a 5 star rating for Aide Victoria A. On floor 2C is a top notch caregiver for my brother. When she is there my brother is washed, changed, dressed, shaved, and cared for in the morning. When she is not there and I showed up at noon time his face is not washed, he us not changed, and not even out of bed on more than one occasion. I visit him every week for the past year and a half. My brother trusts the care Victoria provides and shows empathy, a calm manner, and a sense of humor that often diffuses the confusion my brother exhibits due to his dementia. She goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care and honestly she should be made a supervisor to train young generation aides in manners, demeanor, ethics, and respect.

My Dad has been here for a week. The care and attention from the nursing staff is wonderful. They keep me well informed & have addressed my every concern. The down side is that this place is in need of a serious upgrade. It's old, dreary, needs paint & an overall face-lift. Cleaning crew may need training on how to clean. I cleaned Dads bed rails but I did have to ask for his room to be cleaned. Bottom line, my Dad is well cared for & that's what's important.

Please do not send your family members to HEWITT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL! My relative experienced atrocious care at this place. The good nurses and aids at Hewitt are FAR AND FEW. The lack of empathy is next level and the facility could use a decent scrub along with making sure the aids get background checked. Be sure to advocate for your loved ones if they do go here and have no choice.
