My loved one resides at this facility, and our experience has been mixed overall.

There are staff members who are kind, professional, and truly stand out for the care and compassion they show residents. However, there are also others who come across as more indifferent, and the level of attention can feel inconsistent.

The food quality has been disappointing at times. I have personally tasted meals that were overly salty, overly sweet, and occasionally not fresh or appealing.

We have also observed delays in assistance with basic needs such as restroom help and changing. After group activities like bingo or church services, residents sometimes appear to wait a long time before being brought back or assisted.

In our experience, the level of care and responsiveness seems to improve when family members are frequently present and actively involved. We have found that concerns are often addressed more effectively when escalated through the facility’s compliance reporting channels. I encourage families to stay informed, document concerns, and advocate for their loved ones when needed.

On Tuesday, January 20, I visited my mother and asked a CNA named Tiffany to help me get mom back into bed after she had been sitting for hours on a stage 3 wound. The CNA said she needed to finish dinner orders first. When I explained the urgency of relieving pressure from the wound, the CNA became hostile and started a loud confrontation with me. The facility director overheard and instructed the CNA to report to his office. I filed a complaint with corporate and the same day. The next day, I spoke with the Regional Vice President, who assured me the issue was handled and that this CNA would no longer be assigned to my mother. However, later that same day, I went to see mom and I saw the same CNA on my mother’s hall, socializing with other CNAs. When Tiffany saw me, she rolled her eyes at me again, showing there were no real consequences. Out of concern for retaliation and my mother’s safety, I immediately removed mom from the facility. On another visit, a CNA told me my mom had no wound dressing on all day because it had come off during changing her. I asked why didn't you notify the nurse? The CNA said the wound care nurse will be here later today. I went to nurse station and alerted the nurse myself and requested a wound dressing be put on immediately. I also requested a culture be done on mom's wound, which later confirmed bacterial growth. If you value professionalism, compassion and proper medical care, I strongly recommend avoiding this facility.

You really have to watch them with your love ones. Because if you don’t they will neglect them.

I am a Rehab patient here and will soon be moving to the Residential side of the center. The staff members (Nurses, PT staff, Aides and Administrative office staff) have all been kind and accommodating 9 out of 10 times (those are really good odds). 😀 I feel "taken care of" here. The food has been mostly good as well and they give you the option of picking an item from the alternate menu if you dont want or don't like what they're serving. I would also like to comment on the overall cleanliness. My room is cleaned every day and the whole center looks clean as well. I feel comfortable and safe here. I will miss the staff on the Rehab side and am hoping it will be the same after I move.
