I strongly recommend avoiding Holiday Lane Estates and all other Silvercare Living communities in Texas. Despite market-competitive monthly rates and HLE management showing compassion for residents and their families, my experience with a family member here suggests that quality of services offered is inadequate, and perhaps unsafe, for many seniors seeking an Assisted Living Type B community. Silvercare Management would not take accountability or even acknowledge the severe lapses in judgment and medication list mismanagement that I thoroughly documented at their Holiday Lane Estates community.

I had a family member move in to Holiday Lane Estates in North Richland Hills TX in June 2026. After less than 2 weeks at this community, there were errors with medication management and a failure to initiate emergency care during a crisis situation. I had to personally summon an ambulance to take my relative to the ER from Holiday Lane Estates. The hospital diagnosis was Metabolic Encephalopathy, with symptoms including sudden confusion and paranoia, which is a medical emergency that can quickly progress to a coma, cause permanent brain damage, or be fatal. I’m still investigating, as is the hospital, whether their violations of the Resident Agreement contributed to the severity and duration of the illness and the ongoing sluggish recovery. Needless to say, for safety reasons, I immediately moved my relative out of Holiday Lane Estates and I am continuing my search for another long term care community.
