My mother has been treated so good at this facility for her rehab and Lilly and Tiffany the social workers there went way beyond their duties to get my mother home words cannot express how grateful I am for both of them 5 stars is not enough

Tiffany, the Social Services Designee at Grand River, has been an incredible partner to work with. She consistently helps make the resident move in process smooth and seamless for everyone involved. Her communication is excellent, she is responsive, organized, and always quick to provide updates or answer questions. Most importantly, her passion for helping residents is evident in everything she does. Tiffany genuinely cares about the people she serves, and her dedication makes a positive difference for residents.

We moved our aunt from another facility to Grand River Health and Rehabilitation about a month ago because the last place was severely understaffed and unable to provide even the most basic level of care. In my honest opinion, Grand River should be the Gold Standard for all long term care facilities. Yes, the building is beautiful. Yes, the entire facility is clean with no foul odors. Yes, admissions and transfer were seamless. But the staff are what gets the Five-Star rating! When we toured the facility the first time Lillian was happy to show us around and answered all of our questions. Once we had her moved in she was always very helpful with some technical issues we were having with her Jubilee TV system ( if you have an elderly loved one living alone or in a facility you should check it out!). Rhonda is incredible! Her vibrant personality is infectious and we were shocked to see our aunt actually want to get out of bed to attend activities - which she hasn’t done in 2 years! Melody is also great and willing to step in and take care of anything needed. Food service is great! She loves all of her meals and they are served in a timely manner. Breakfast at 7:00, lunch at noon and dinner at 5:00 every day! Fresh ice water is delivered every morning and the cup is labeled with the date and time. And then there are the aids - all of them! They answer call lights quickly and actually take care of the issue immediately. Not like the last place where they would turn off the call light and leave the room without addressing the need and then never return. They stop in regularly just to check on her and see if she needs anything. Several times a day they change her brief even when she doesn’t press her call light. The last place would literally let her go for 12-24 hours without a brief change. They have even be able to convince her to get out of her bed for an actual shower at least once a week when for the last 2 years she would insist on a bed bath and the aids at the last place were completely ok with that because it was probably easier for them. Here they make it a priority to do the work to keep the residents healthy and safe. We couldn’t be happier and neither could our aunt. She is so impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Looks like we’ve found her forever home! Thank you to everyone at Grand River Health and Rehabilitation!

Been in 10# nursing homes in last several years. That includes my grand river stay in past was not good. The therapy department had a complete makeover and was a great experience.! The nurse, aids and maintenance were awesome! I would have rate this facility as 100% !!
