This review is for communication with the staff prior to even visiting, not an experience once there. However, the communication with the woman who called us was so very poor, I felt the need to warn other families in our situation. The conversation we had was not only extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, it was quite honestly plain discouraging. We were told "there are no beds, and even if we had one I don't know how we'd help you". We were also told "I'm not even sure what skilled nursing could do for you" which when you're in the middle of a traumatic, unforeseen accident with a loved one is unnecessarily hopeless. A simple "I'm sorry, we don't provide that level of care, our facility is more for {xyz}" would have be more professional and appropriate. As we have called around, reviewing options for respite/road to home care, this is the only experience we've had like this. Every other facility has been caring, kind, and a wealth of knowledge as we try to figure out next steps. Not every facility has been an option for us, but they've all pointed us in the right direction based on their knowledge in the industry. While Falcon's Landing came on a recommendation, and we were very hopeful it would be an option, instead we were met with rudeness and discouragement at a time our family is already reeling, exhausted, and scared.
