Elevate Care South Holland is a senior living community in South Holland, Illinois offering Skilled Nursing / Long Term Care. Amenities include Restaurant style Dining Room, Gathering / Activity Spaces and Social Activities. Families rate it 4.2 out of 5 across 357 reviews.
Elevate Care South Holland is a 171-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility in South Holland, Illinois. It serves residents requiring rehabilitation and extended care, with a Google rating of 4.2 stars across 357 reviews.
Families consistently highlight the facility's therapy and rehabilitation team as a significant strength. One family noted the "best therapy group (PT, OT, speech) and wound care team," with residents showing marked improvement in mobility and recovery. Admissions staff, particularly those in leadership roles, receive praise for responsiveness and professionalism during intake. However, reviews reveal substantial concerns about inconsistent daily care and staff interactions, some families report attentiveness and regular updates from nursing supervisors, while others describe neglectful practices, missing clean linens, and staff dismissiveness to family questions.
A recurring theme across lower-rated reviews involves staffing challenges: high turnover, overworked personnel, and uneven professionalism among CNAs and nurses. Families also note issues with communication when concerns are escalated, describing administrative responsiveness as slow or dismissive. One family wrote, "the only good thing about this place is some of the staff," pointing to quality inconsistency across departments.
With a 4.2-star average, the facility shows a stark split between highly satisfied families (often those with strong rehab outcomes) and those reporting systemic concerns around daily care standards and staff reliability. Prospective residents and families should plan for frequent visits to monitor care quality directly.
