My mother-in-law and I visited s she’s looking at various options for a senior living community. We couldn’t have been treated better. Renee was attentive and thorough. She patiently listened and answered all our questions in a very understandable and transparent way. The facility is first class. There are most all services that one needs in house. The food was restaurant quality and the staff were courteous and accommodating. The residents were welcoming, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in us. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Truly a 5 star experience!!!

Edgewater is a very friendly, comfortable community in which to live. There are many activities available here and if you don’t find a program you want to join, you can start a new one. You can also live independently and participate in only those things you are able or want to do. With all stages of care, we find it the best place to be at this stage of our lives.

My 95 year old mother was treated with kindness and compassion at Edgewater during her 2 1/2 week stay. The facility is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the therapy extremely beneficial and the meals are delicious! (She didn’t want to leave!💕)

My husband arrived at Edgewater skilled nursing on a Saturday after being transferred from Mercy Hospital. He was to be given extra attention and care to help rehabilitate him. There is no physician on duty there on weekends. I witness no activity in the gym area over the weekend. When my husband woke on Sunday he said he could not feel or move his body. His right side was very swollen and could not raise his arm or hand. They basically gave him pain meds and put him to bed. When the physician arrived on Monday she phoned me to say she thought Ken was having a stroke. He was then sent back to hospital in which it was determined he was having a stroke. I am sad and upset that none of the weekend staff reacted to his medical needs. I wonder if there would have been a better outcome.
